LOCATION: Maynooth, Co. Kildare. Flexible and home-based working
options will be available, however, the successful candidate will need
to have a regular presence in the office.

services for all those affected by mental ill health. It has supported
the rights of individuals and groups to enhance their recovery,
promoted access to services, challenged negative attitudes and
behaviours and delivered a variety of programmes and services. Shine
is particularly proud to be the only national mental health
organisation specifically founded to support family members.
THE ROLE:
Shine is now recruiting a CEO to lead its dedicated team, develop and
deliver its next strategic plan, and set organisational goals and
objectives which anticipate and explore future opportunities for the
organisation.
We are seeking applications from candidates with significant senior
management experience and change management skills. As CEO, you will
enable and encourage innovation and the continuous development of
Shine?s services and programmes. You will have excellent analytical
and creative problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on delivering
quality outcomes for Shine?s service users.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to nurture
strong relationships and grow engagement with staff, external
stakeholders, service users, and the wider Shine community. The ideal
candidate will have experience managing budgets, growing relationships
with existing funders, and identifying new income streams in order to
develop a sustainable and diverse funding model. You will also have
proven knowledge and experience of the mental health system in which
Shine operates including legal, political and policy considerations.
